The Leadership Educators
The LDR Labs Prague Leadership Study Abroad program is guided by a dynamic instructional team, with over 50 years of leadership education experience, that brings together deep expertise in leadership education, organizational behavior, student development, and innovation. Together, the faculty leaders combine scholarly insight, real-world leadership practice, and high-impact student engagement to create an immersive and transformational international learning experience. Their shared commitment is to help students grow as globally aware, ethically grounded, and practically skilled leaders through experiential learning, cultural exploration, and applied leadership development.
Dr. Tony Middlebrooks
Dr. Tony Middlebrooks creates programs and tools, designs learning experiences, and
explores the intersection of leadership, innovation, creativity, and design. An award-winning professor, he has created and taught more than 40 different courses for all collegiate levels; as well as designed programs for youth, international students, professional and executive education, and experiential abroad programs (including many in Prague). He is lead author of the textbook Discovering Leadership: Designing Your Success and presently teaches courses in leadership theory and practice, team leadership, and creativity and innovation.

Matthew Creasy
Dr. Matthew Sowcik
Matthew Creasy, Associate Director of University Student Centers and leadership development professional, who leads major student leadership and innovation initiatives and serves as the head curator of TEDxUniversityofDelaware. Creasy brings strengths in creative leadership, innovation, and idea incubation. Together, this instructional team creates a supportive, challenging, and highly interactive learning environment that helps students expand their leadership capacity while experiencing one of Europe’s most historic and inspiring cities.
Dr. Matthew Sowcik, a leadership professor at the University of Florida, specializes in leadership development, humility in leadership, and growth mindset–based approaches to leader effectiveness. Dr. Sowcik is an award-winning educator who won the University of Florida's CALS Teacher of the Year award in 2021. He brings extensive experience designing high-impact leadership programs and is the author of The H-Factor: The Intersection Between Humility and Great Leadership.
